Backstage News On WWE Main Roster Call Up For Tiffany Stratton

Stratton joined SmackDown on last week's show.

Tiffany Stratton has officially been called up from NXT to the main WWE roster, with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announcing her signing on the February 2 edition of the show.

Stratton was shown interacting with the recently returned Naomi (who also signed with SmackDown on the show following her comeback at the Royal Rumble), Bianca Belair, Shotzi and Michin in a backstage segment.

The former NXT Women's Champion then defeated Michin later in the show.

According to SE Scoops writer Aaron Varble, there are 'big things' in store for the 24-year-old now that she has been called up. Varble added that those who work on main roster creative had wanted Tiffany there and her debut had been planned for the Royal Rumble.

Unlike Bron Breakker (who replaced Brock Lesnar in the men's Royal Rumble match), Stratton's participation was not a spur-of-the-moment decision. Reports had indicated that Stratton was being readied for a move to the main roster.

She had previously wrestled one dark match, defeating Kiana Janes at the July 21, 2023 SmackDown tapings. Stratton also wrestled on four non-televised WWE Supershow live events in September, defending her NXT Women's Title against Becky Lynch.
