'Big Reactions Backstage' For WWE NXT North American Title Match At Stand & Deliver

NXT's North American Championship match went down well backstage

NXT held their biggest yearly show with Stand & Deliver 2024 yesterday, which came in the lead up to WrestleMania 40 Saturday, and it took place in the Wells Fargo Center (where both SmackDown and the 2024 Hall Of Fame ceremony were held) in front of over 13,000 fans.

During the show, NXT North American Champion Oba Femi reigned supreme in an electric and hard-hitting triple threat match involving himself, Josh Briggs, and Dijak. It wasn’t just those in the arena and fans online who reacted positively to this match, but those in WWE reportedly were high on it backstage too.

Per a report from Fightful Select, it was noted that there were a “lot of big reactions backstage” to this triple threat match for the NXT North American Championship, signalling a lot of love and support for what went down in the ring. It was also noted that WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H was backstage at the NXT show, though didn’t have any creative influence on what went down.

Femi has been champion since back in January, when he dethroned Dragon Lee for the gold.
