Bobby Lashley Promises Batista WWE Championship Match If He Returns

The All Mighty WWE Champion took to social media

Bobby Lashley has said Batista can have a match for the WWE Championship should he ever decide to return to the ring.

Lashley posted a photo of himself and the to-be-inducted WWE Hall Of Famer on Instagram on Thursday, floating the idea of a potentially huge match between the two for WWE's biggest prize in the future.

He wrote: "So good seeing my good friend @davebautista. And Yes I will give you a title shot if you ever return! Nevertheless, congrats on all your successes brotha."

Batista, for his part, seems perfectly content with his decision to retire from wrestling. The former Evolution member had his last match at WrestleMania 35 against old mentor Triple H, before confirming his retirement less than 24 hours later.

The wrestler-turned-actor has reiterated his stance on retirement a number of times since, saying that while permanent retirement isn't considered by many in the business, he does class himself as properly retired from in-ring competition as he focuses on his Hollywood career.
