Booker T prepares to execute the Spinaroonie at WWE TLC 2011

Booker T is set to come out of retirement for a match against Zilla Fatu at his Reality of Wrestling promotion on January 11.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer agreed to the match after being challenged by Fatu at the December 29 ROW event. It will mark his first in-ring appearance since his surprise entrance in the 2023 men's Royal Rumble match.

Though he initially confirmed his in-ring retirement following the Rumble appearance, the 59-year-old subsequently revealed that he was planning to have another match.

Zilla, the son of the late former WWE star Umaga, was trained by Booker and his ROW school. While he left the promotion last year, he later returned and went on to hold the company's top singles title.

Earlier this year, Booker noted that he was trying to help Fatu reach WWE (who reportedly view him as a future prospect).

Tommy Dreamer recently spoke about how several within TNA are pushing for the company to sign the up-and-comer.

The 25-year-old clearly has options within the industry, but will not be performing for GCW for the foreseeable future.
