It was revealed last week that WWE were opening a transfer window between the brands of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, and the first official move has seen Braun Strowman head over to Friday Night SmackDown, which was announced during his return to TV last night.

It was reported earlier on during the day that Strowman was expected to be the mystery man taking on Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown (after SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had promised him an opponent), and this proved to be true as the Monster Among Men made his first appearance since a Last Monster Standing loss to Bronson Reed back in September where he tore his groin and was ruled out of action.

Strowman pummelled Hayes, squashing him in just 91 seconds in a dominant performance. This was the quickest loss Hayes has suffered in his entire three and half year WWE career, and he will be hoping to bounce back from it as soon as possible. Strowman’s recent WWE run has been mired by injuries, so the former Universal Champion will be looking to try and retain his spot and momentum.
