Bray Wyatt Returns At WWE Extreme Rules

Bray Wyatt is back!

WWE's White Rabbit has been revealed.

After just over a year away, Bray Wyatt made his return to WWE to close out the Extreme Rules pay-per-view in Philadelphia on October 8.

The show initially looked set to go off the air following Matt Riddle's win over Seth Rollins but the lights in the arena suddenly went out, with Michael Cole even questioning if they were still on the air. Life-size cast members of the Firefly Fun House and The Fiend were then shown inside the arena before a door appeared on the stage and the broadcast moved elsewhere.

The cameras arrived at the Firefly Fun House, left in a state of decay and as a TV turned on, a white-masked figure asked who killed the world? The answer, as it has been for several weeks, was you did. The door inside the arena then flew open and the white-masked figure, carrying a lantern, stepped through.

The figure removed their mask, revealing themselves to be Bray Wyatt and he proceeded to blow out the light. As the broadcast ended, Wyatt's trademark cut-away music played with Extreme Rules going off the air after an upside-down fly flashed on-screen.

Wyatt's return comes after a weeks-long viral campaign from WWE consisting of teases involving the White Rabbit. It was widely believed the teases were for Wyatt and that was indeed the case.

During his first WWE run, Wyatt established himself as one of WWE's top stars first as The Eater of Worlds and then as The Fiend. Prior to his release in July 2021, Wyatt was a one-time WWE Champion and two-time Universal Champion.
