Britt Baker's AEW Return Date Announced

Britt Baker will be back on AEW TV in two weeks

Britt Baker made her return to AEW programming at the Forbidden Door 2024 PPV, facing off with Mercedes Moné after spending many months away from the ring after suffering a mini-stroke. The pair proceeded to feud over the following months, though their path to the All InL London 2024 PPV was murky due to Baker receiving a suspension from AEW programming following a backstage incident with MJF. When it comes to reports on the incident, MJF told Cultaholic exclusively that everything written in reports was incorrect.

Baker swiftly returned to AEW to continue her feud, leading to a match with Moné at AEW All In 2024 over the TBS Championship, which received mixed reviews. In the weeks since, Baker had not been mentioned on AEW programming and she hadn’t been seen at all. On last night’s AEW Collision, her return to TV was announced.

The former AEW Women’s World Champion will be making her return at the 5-Year Anniversary of AEW Dynamite on October 2 which takes place in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is set to compete in a match, though no opponent has yet been announced. Back in 2019, Baker competed on just the second ever episode of Dynamite, teaming up with Riho to defeat Bea Priestley and Emi Sakuta.
