WWE Star Teases A Return From Injury

A WWE faction might be getting a member back soon

The Damage CTRL faction has been several members down recently, with both Asuka & Dakota Kai being ruled out with injuries, leaving just Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane to represent the group in the ring on Monday Night RAW. However, they may be receiving some back up soon.

Dakota Kai has teased a comeback on her social media, taking to her Instagram stories and posting three separate images of her in the ring during 2024 with the caption “See. You. Soon.” This implies that Kai will be back on WWE programming in the near future.

Kai was sidelined back in July with a torn meniscus, which was expected to keep her out of the ring for around eight to ten weeks, so a return soon fits in closely with this timeline. She was written off TV following an attack by the newly formed Pure Fusion Collective faction of Shayna Baszler, Sonya Deville and Zoey Stark, who have been feuding with Damage CTRL.

Reports at the time stated that Kai received a lot of sympathy for her injury due to being well liked backstage, and only returning from a torn ACL in March of this year.
