Bryan Danielson's Fractured Arm Worse Than Expected

Danielson's wife Brie Garcia shared the bad news

The arm injury Bryan Danielson sustained during his main event match with Kazuchika Okada at Forbidden Door is worse than expected.

Danielson's wife Brie Garcia shared an image of an x-ray of The American Dragon's arm on her Instagram, writing: "Not sure to be proud or chastise him for wrestling 10 more minutes with this break!! Definitely worse than we thought!! Nurse Brie ready for action!!".

Bryan had initially noted (during the post-pay-per-view media scrum) that the AEW medical staff believed his forearm fracture would keep him out of action for between six to eight weeks. That timeline would have him returning right around the time of All In, which will take place in Wembley Stadium on August 27.

Danielson has only wrestled twice since tearing his labrum in his 60-minute Iron Man AEW World Title match with MJF at Revolution on March 5. The other one of those matches was the Anarchy in the Arena bout at Double or Nothing.

It was reported going into Forbidden Door that the 42-year-old had been performing while banged up.
