Buff Bagwell Arrested After Losing His 'Temper'

Bagwell was arrested on November 16.

Former WCW star Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell was arrested on November 16 in Cobb County, Georgia.

The 53-year-old was charged with speeding and driving under the influence of drugs, both of which are misdemeanours.

Bagwell, who is listed as having been sentenced to "time served", was released after spending 24 hours in jail.

Bagwell later took to X to tweet about the incident, saying:

"Still sober despite the reports - unfortunately whenever I get a violation in the DUI Court Program it lists my original offense from 3 years ago. I did serve 24 hours for losing my temper Thurs-Fri and I'm working keeping my cool every day".

The five-time WCW Tag Team Champion had previously sought to clarify things when he was arrested in July of this year.

The DDP Yoga YouTube channel has also released a video of Bagwell addressing his recent arrest and providing an update on his sobriety. In it, he notes that he is 446 days sober.

Diamond Dallas Page has been attempting to help Bagwell in the same way he had previously with other wrestlers who grappled with addiction, such as Scott Hall and Jake 'The Snake' Roberts.
