Triple H is "actively bothered" by one aspect of how WWE are perceived.

One common belief within the industry, which has stemmed from WWE's booking of the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura and various talents from Mexico over the past several years as well as historic booking, is that talents from Mexico and Japan are more susceptible to struggling within the company.

Taking to Twitter, Ibou of WrestlePurists has reported that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H is actively bothered by this perception, which is one of the reasons for the likes of Kairi Sane and Dragon Lee being booked strongly on Friday Night SmackDown.

"I've reiterated a couple times now on WrestlePurists shows that one of the big things coming out of the office that was strongly relayed to me is a motivation to change the perception that Japanese and Mexican wrestlers cannot succeed in WWE. It's a thing that actively bothers Paul Levesque and the SmackDown that followed me receiving this information went out of their way to present Kairi Sane and Dragon Lee as big time acts. In the following week It's now out that Giulia got an offer and that they want Okada again. My gut feeling is Giulia says yes, and Okada says no and remains in NJPW," Ibou tweeted.

It emerged in recent days that WWE had renewed their interest in Kazuchika Okada and Shinsuke Nakamura's recent booking in the World Heavyweight Title picture was partly done to try and entice Okada to WWE. Giulia, meanwhile, has been the subject of WWE interest and the NJPW STRONG Women's Champion has received an offer from the company.
