Buff Bagwell Claims He Rejected WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

No Hall Of Fame ring for Bagwell

Former WCW star Buff Bagwell has claimed he turned down the opportunity to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

WWE inducted the nWo into the hall of fame as part of the class of 2020 earlier this year, with Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman representing the group.

The nWo had many more members, though, including the likes of Randy Savage, Eric Bischoff, Ted DiBiase, Scott Norton and Buff Bagwell, and Bagwell claimed on 'Who The Fook Are These Guys?' podcast that WWE contacted him about being inducted into the hall of fame as part of the nWo. Bagwell rejected the offer, though, because he didn't want to be inducted as part of a faction.

"They actually called me to do the hall of fame thing. I was like, I'll be honest with you I said 'I don't want to be part of a group in the hall of fame.' I'd be like Brett Favre getting a Hall of Fame ring because of the Green Bay Packers. Brett Favre got a ring because he's Brett Favre," Bagwell said.

'Buff Daddy' spent 10 years in WCW from 1991 until the company folded in 2001. He was a member of the nWo and it's various incarnations from 1996 until 1999.
