Change Made To Roman Reigns' WWE Schedule Following SmackDown Angle

Latest on Roman Reigns' WWE schedule

A change has been made to Roman Reigns' WWE schedule.

The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion was previously advertised for the September 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Seattle's Climate Pledge Arena. The show will be the first episode of SmackDown back on the USA Network, with the WWE show moving to the channel from Fox as part of a multi-year deal.

Reigns' has since been removed from the 'featured superstars' section of the September 13 SmackDown taping on WWE.com, however, and he is no longer in the thumbnail for the taping, being replaced by Tiffany Stratton. This suggests Reigns won't be working the September 13 event.

Roman Reigns has been back on WWE TV since SummerSlam, sparking a feud with Solo Sikoa in the process after Sikoa had looked to create a new version of The Bloodline. Reigns retained the upper hand on the post-SummerSlam edition of SmackDown but the 'Big Dog' was left lying on August 16 following Jacob Fatu's return, with the new Bloodline putting Reigns through the announce table to stand tall to end the show.

When Roman Reigns will return to WWE programming is unknown. He is planned to be involved in a major match that will main event Survivor Series later this year.
