Charlotte Flair Appears To Be Unhappy About Being In WWE Women's Tag Team Division
She is expected to team with Becky Lynch against The Kabuki Warriors at TLC...
During the After The Bell podcast, Corey Graves had a small rant about Charlotte Flair's current situation within WWE, expressing his frustration that Charlotte was currently a babyface wallowing in the women's tag team division. He said: "Charlotte Flair has never felt less important than she does right now. This whole tag team thing with Charlotte finding a different partner week after week, it just doesn’t click. I’m not feeling it and it looks to me like Charlotte’s not feeling it. Charlotte Flair carried the main event of WrestleMania this year because she is a pro. She is highly talented and when she’s motivated, dare I say, untouchable. I miss The Queen. My Queen. The villainess that just kicked everybody’s ass because she was superior."
Charlotte is seemingly in agreement with Graves. In response to the podcast Flair tweeted: "The problem is: He's not entirely wrong."
This isn't the first time a Superstar has been unhappy about their involvement in the women's tag team division. Last week Raw Women's Champion sarcastically tweeted:"I’ve just become the longest reigning Raw women’s champion, so i’m thrilled to be in the tag division rn.” – accompanied by a GIF of her looking into the camera, hinting that we all know what she’s talking about.
Despite both Superstars reservations, their stint in the Tag division looks set to continue. Local advertising ahead of the TLC pay-per-view indicates Flair and Lynch are set to face off against The Kabuki Warriors in the first-ever women's Tables, Ladders and Chairs match.
