The wrestling world has rallied around Chris Bey after the multi-time TNA World Tag Team Champion was rushed to hospital following a neck injury at a recent TNA IMPACT TV taping.

Details of the injury suffered by Bey have yet to be made public, with eyewitnesses stating the ‘Ultimate Finesser’ was seemingly knocked out after a neckbreaker spot and was stretchered out of the arena and straight into surgery on October 28.

Bey has since released a statement via TNA Wrestling, thanking fans for their well wishes:

“I just want to take a few moments to extend my heartfelt thanks and deepest appreciation for so much and to so many over the past few days. From everyone at TNA Wrestling, to the incredible medical staff here in Detroit, to family, friends and fans worldwide. I know you have been praying for my full recovery from the in-ring accident this past Sunday. Monday was Day One for me on this journey, which I know will be long and challenging. Thanks again for the love and support, and please keep the prayers coming!”

A Gofundme campaign set up to cover Bey’s medical costs has passed the $65,000 mark. Everyone at Cultaholic sends our best wishes to Chris Bey.
