Chris Hero Reached Out To Ricochet Over Deleting 'MS' Tweet

Following the reveal that a friend reached out to Ricochet and advised him to take down his tweet about being glad that an X/Twitter user had multiple sclerosis (MS), it has been confirmed who the friend was.

Fightful Select has reported that those in All Elite Wrestling have said that it was Chris Hero who got in contact with Ricochet about the tweet and provided the former AEW National Champion with advice.

Chris Hero has been a producer in All Elite Wrestling since the summer of 2023. He and Ricochet have been friends for decades stretching back to their time on the independent wrestling scene together.

Ricochet's 'MS' tweet, aimed at a fan suffering from multiple sclerosis who criticised his acting abilities, resulted in him being heavily criticised on social media. Ricochet was not forced to apologise by All Elite Wrestling or Warner Bros. Discovery but AEW officials reportedly told Ricochet after his apology that it was the right thing to do.

Ricochet wrote in his apology tweet: "I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are affected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I'll do better."
