CM Punk Believed To Have Behaviour Clause In WWE Contract

CM Punk may have a behaviour clause in his WWE contract

CM Punk needs to be on his best behaviour following his return to WWE.

While not confirmed, Fightful Select has reported that some in WWE have been told by higher-ups that CM Punk has a behaviour clause associated with his contract.

The two-time AEW World Champion has become somewhat infamous in recent years for his bad behaviour and he was ultimately fired with cause by All Elite Wrestling in September 2023 following multiple incidents with Tony Khan and a backstage altercation with Jack Perry. This came one year after Brawl Out, Punk's backstage fight alongside Ace Steel with The Elite, and only months after he established himself as the sheriff of AEW Collision and had several talents banned from the show.

Punk's return to WWE caused a great deal of apprehension and unhappiness but the situation appears to have since calmed down following his appearance on Monday Night Raw. Punk is believed to be under contract with WWE for several years.
