CM Punk Not Planning To Address His Time In AEW Following WWE Return

CM Punk looking to move on from AEW

Following his signing with WWE, CM Punk is reportedly looking to move on from his drama-filled run in All Elite Wrestling.

Haus of Wrestling has reported: "It was reiterated that Punk is looking to move past the drama of AEW entirely and has no plans to address any of what happened there."

Punk made his return to pro wrestling with AEW in August 2021 and he spent a drama-filled couple of years with the promotion until his firing with cause in September 2023 in the aftermath of All In. There was talk of potential legal action following his firing but Punk opted not to go in that direction, with his sacking coming about after multiple incidents with Tony Khan and a backstage altercation with Jack Perry at All In which was said to have been recorded by CCTV.

There was speculation that Punk took a dig at The Young Bucks' victory lap following his AEW firing in the final moments of his Raw promo but Haus of Wrestling has reported that was not the case and Punk would have been more direct if he was taking a shot at his former employers.

Tony Khan was reportedly largely unfazed by Punk's WWE return on Saturday night. Plans are reportedly already in motion for two of Punk's first feuds in WWE
