WWE's CM Punk Plans Revealed

CM Punk's first WWE feuds revealed

As expected, WWE have major plans for CM Punk following his return at Survivor Series.

Punk had been away from the company for nine years, and pro wrestling as a whole for much of that period beyond a two-year stint in All Elite Wrestling that ended with Punk's firing in September 2023. Punk made his return at Survivor Series and one talent unhappy to see the Voice of the Voiceless was Seth Rollins, who shouted expletives at Punk and gave him the middle finger after the pay-per-view went off the air.

Seth Rollins has continued to take digs at CM Punk, playing into his real-life dislike of the 45-year-old at a WWE house show and on Monday Night Raw. This is all leading to one thing and that is a programme between Rollins and CM Punk, according to Sports Illustrated. There is speculation a match over the World Heavyweight Championship could be the main event of WrestleMania 40 night one.

WrestleMania being five months away, though, could mean WWE decide to hold Punk vs. Rollins at the Royal Rumble in late January. Reddit insider Kerrmit125 has said the match is planned for the Rumble.

Beyond Rollins, WWE have plans in motion for Punk to eventually feud with Roman Reigns. Punk alluded to his past alliance with Paul Heyman during his WWE Raw return promo, mentioning a "wise man." Heyman, of course, is currently the manager of Roman Reigns as the special counsel to the tribal chief.
