CM Punk Not Set To Meet With WWE Officials

No talks with WWE's board for CM Punk

Speculation continues to swirl around the future of CM Punk.

While IMPACT Wrestling/TNA and the NWA would welcome the 'Straight-Edge Superstar' in their locker rooms, it would appear that WWE are still uninterested in hosting a return for their former star (at least for now).

Responding to a report from insider X account BWE, Ibou of WresltePurists poured cold water on the notion that Punk was scheduled for a call with WWE board members, writing:

"I really hate to burst people's bubbles, but I reached out to sources that would know on CM Punk's side, and they deny that this situation has taken place. As of today, CM Punk returning to WWE at Survivor Series specifically is not set to happen"

While WWE may not have plans to bring Punk back, his former friend Corey Graves would welcome him if that were the case, whilst Tongue-in-cheek references to WWE, AEW and TNA were made during Punk's most recent appearance providing commentary for the Cage Fury Fighting Championship.
