CM Punk's Face Hidden On AEW Dynamite

CM Punk's face was blocked from view on AEW Dynamite

All Elite Wrestling seemingly didn't want to bring attention to CM Punk on Wednesday night's edition of Dynamite.

It was revealed during the opening moments of Dynamite that The Young Bucks had been attacked by Blackpool Combat Club and the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were shown leaving the arena in Independence, Missouri in an ambulance.

The ambulance transported The Young Bucks away from the venue next to an AEW production truck but tables, a ladder, and large pieces of cardboard were used to cover a section of the truck, which was later revealed to be where CM Punk's face is on the side of the vehicle.

It is unknown why Punk's face was covered on the production truck and it could simply be another rib from The Elite against the two-time AEW World Champion. The Elite previously mocked Punk and Ace Steel during their Best of Seven series with Death Triangle and reports noted in February that no fences had been mended between the two parties

Punk and Ace Steel infamously had a brawl with The Elite after Punk's post-All Out media scrum in September 2022. During the brawl, Steel allegedly threw a chair at Nick Jackson and bit Kenny Omega. Everyone involved was initially suspended but The Elite returned a couple of months later, while Ace Steel was fired. It is unknown if Punk is still suspended but he remains out of action with a torn triceps.
