Cody Rhodes Segment Added To WWE Payback

Cody Rhodes hasn’t really engaged in any huge feuds following his trilogy with Brock Lesnar, which culminated at SummerSlam, aside from aiding the likes of Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens in their battles with The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw. 

For the first time since Elimination Chamber earlier this year, Cody Rhodes will not be competing on a premium live event. He will still be on the show though, as it was announced last night on Friday Night SmackDown that he would be a guest on the Grayson Waller Effect at Payback, with an in-ring segment set for the show.

The pair haven’t had any form of feud, so it could well be in place to set up Rhodes’ next challenger down the road. Waller recently had a big PPV moment with John Cena back at the Money in the Bank event in London, England. 

The rest of the card for Payback is looking like this;
