Cody Rhodes Sells Neck Injury At Naked Mind Yoga Event

At the recent Saturday Night’s Main Event reboot, reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes successfully defended his gold against challenger and former friend Kevin Owens, standing tall as the show went off the air. However, after the show faded to black, Owens re-emerged and issued a brutal assault on Rhodes, nailing a package piledriver that left Rhodes needing to be stretchered out and out in a neck brace. 

In the aftermath, WWE stated that Rhodes had suffered from an “axial compression of the cervical spine, as well as a cervical strain with spasm”. Rhodes is a real worker brother, and he has been selling the injury even outside of the ring in public. 

Rhodes’ wife  Brandi Rhodes is the owner and founder of the Naked Mind Yoga & Pilates company, and an event was held over the weekend that the WWE Champion was present for. In pictures taken with fans on social media, Rhodes was shown sporting a neck brace, ensuring that the storyline is kept alive and Owens’ actions feel authentic. 

However, Rhodes will not be wearing a neck brace for his upcoming appearance on CBeebies Bedtime Stories, which is simply not acceptable. The kids will know it's not a shoot!
