Contract Signing Set For WWE SmackDown Next Week

WWE will host a contract signing for the Royal Rumble fatal four way on SmackDown next week

The 2024 Royal Rumble event is fast approaching, and a star-studded Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match is set to take place. It was announced last week that for the first time in his 3 year plus reign that Roman Reigns would be putting his title on the line in a fatal four way match, competing against LA Knight, Randy Orton, and AJ Styles.

Reigns attempted to get out of facing any of these men when he and The Bloodline attacked all three individuals during their number one contenders match, though SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis had other ideas, booking the four way instead.

The match is not “officially official” just yet though as WWE will be hosting a contract signing for the match next week on SmackDown, when all four men will be in the ring together. Knight, Styles, and Orton are somewhat on the same page for now after defeating Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa in a handicap match on SmackDown, with them all having a common enemy in The Bloodline. It is likely that Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman will still try to find a way to weasel out of this title match.
