Top WWE Talents Advertised For Backlash In France, Roman Reigns Absent

Roman Reigns is still not advertised for WWE Backlash in France

WWE is heading to France in May in what will be the first ever WWE premium live event (or PPV) to be held in France. The Backlash PLE which last year took place in Puerto Rico, is on the road again and will no doubt be a night that brings a lot of financial rewards to the company, which has often been the case when the promotion has ventured out of mainland North America for major events.

The show might still be a few months away, but WWE have already announced some of the names who will be at the event as the company opened up ticket sales for the event. In addition to existing promotional material, WWE has now revealed a few more superstars that will be present. The top names included in the billing are Cody Rhodes, WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, Randy Orton, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Rey Mysterio, Bianca Belair, and Becky Lynch.

The most notable omission so far is the current Undisputed WWE World Champion Roman Reigns. Although there is a chance that this suggests that Reigns won’t be champion following April’s WrestleMania 40, Reigns has been a part-timer since all the way back in 2022, missing many of WWE’s PLE’s over the last two years, so this isn’t out of the norm.
