Daniel Garcia remains ‘All Elite’ with AEW

After months of ‘will he or won’t he’ reports, it seems as though Daniel Garcia has made his decision, with ‘Red Death’ revealing on the October 8 edition of AEW Dynamite that he is staying with the company.
Garcia’s AEW deal was set to expire this month, with both AEW and WWE keen to secure the PWG World Champion’s services, with the latter seeing Garcia as ‘the next great technical wrestler’ in the sport.
On Dynamite, Garcia teased what the future holds for him before stating that he is ‘the best’ and it makes sense for him to remain ‘where the best wrestle’. Garcia then said he was not going to cry or complain whenever he loses a match and that he is making a change, then turned his attention onto the AEW roster and said anyone with gold around their waist was now a target.
Garcia last wrestled at AEW All Out on September 7, taking out MJF with a piledriver after losing to the former AEW World Champion in singles competition. Whilst AEW did reportedly at times sway between feeling confident and not-confident about re-securing Garcia’s services, creative plans were drafted for Garcia should he re-sign.
