Daniel Garcia Still Yet To Re-Sign With AEW

No new AEW deal signed by Daniel Garcia as of yet

Daniel Garcia had still yet to sign a new contract with All Elite Wrestling as of last week, according to Fightful Select. It is unknown if Garcia has since put pen to paper on a new deal with AEW but if he hasn't his contract will come to an end in October 2024.

Reports as of early August noted that Garcia remaining with All Elite Wrestling was the most likely outcome but the former ROH Pure Champion was interested in potentially going to WWE. Fightful has since noted the interest is mutual from WWE's side, while AEW are also looking to retain Garcia.

Garcia is currently off All Elite Wrestling programming, having been written off TV on the post-Forbidden Door edition of Dynamite with a beatdown from MJF as a safety net in case Garcia doesn't sign a new contract. Maxwell Jacob Friedman has continued to mention Garcia since the attack, setting the foundations for a feud with MJF should 'Red Death' opt to sign a new deal with AEW.

Daniel Garcia has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since 2021. He has had high-profile matches against the likes of Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, and Swerve Strickland in 2024 already.
