Dax Harwood Recalls Fighting Almost Every Day With Vince McMahon During WWE Run

He felt The Revival were the opposite of everything Vince wanted in a pro wrestler.

AEW star Dax Harwood has opened up about the difficulties he faced when moving from NXT to the main WWE roster.

Harwood (FKA Scott Dawson) and Cash Wheeler (FKA Dash Wilder) were pushed strongly in NXT as The Revival, but their fortunes fluctuated when they were members of the Raw and SmackDown rosters.

During a recent episode of Power Alphas, Harwood noted that working with Vince McMahon was a challenge, saying:

"Everything that, at the time, Vince McMahon loved about a professional wrestler...Cash and I were the complete antithesis to that. We were not his bodybuilders. We didn't meet his height requirements...I knew it was going to be a fight on the main roster, and it was. Almost every day it was a fight"

This was in contrast to working with Paul 'Triple H' Levesque while in NXT, with Harwood adding:

"[Triple H] admired your wrestling and your work and what you brought to the table in-ring more than Vince did at the time. Vince had his idea of what a successful professional wrestler is...we were the opposite of that".

FTR have been pulled from AEW television while Harwood recovers from a severe hematoma.
