Dax Harwood has revealed that he and FTR partner Cash Wheeler will likely be off AEW television for a while, following the disclosure of a secret injury.

Dax revealed the injury in a tweet posted last night, captioned:

"An explanation that I feel I owe everyone. The fans, my boss, the medical team, and the whole roster. I appreciate you all, and I hope to see you soon. Top Guys, out."

In the subsequent video message, Harwood explains that he's been working with a severe hematoma since AEW Dynasty in April, an injury sustained while giving Matthew Jackson of the Young Bucks a piledriver.

That match saw the Bucks defeat FTR to become three-time AEW World Tag Team Champions, thanks to the return of Jack Perry.

Harwood also reveals that despite the excruciating pain, he didn't want to disclose the injury because he didn't want himself and Wheeler to be taken off television.

However, after his match last weekend at AEW Collision, the swelling of Dax's hematoma worsened severely backstage and he was forced to come clean. He states:

“I don’t know how long this is going to last, I don’t know how long we’re gonna have to be off, but unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for some of you people that don’t like FTR, myself and Cash will not be on television for a while. I have to rest this thing up.”
