Details Behind Legitimate WWE Raw Fight Between Charlotte Flair & Nia Jax Reportedly Emerge

Viewers of this week's WWE Monday Night Raw may have been a bit confused during the match between Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax.

The action between the Raw Women's Champion and Jax broke down and appeared to turn into a legitimate fight at one point, with both competitors shoot-striking each other in the middle of their bout.

PWInsider has confirmed with multiple sources in WWE that what the watching audience saw happen is exactly what went down. The match between Flair and Jax went awry and led to the duo having a legitimate confrontation with each other, with slaps and punches being thrown by both individuals during the exchange. 

It has been noted that Jax and Flair were able to get back on the same page and the match ended in the manner that had been booked, with Jax defeating the Raw Women's Champion.

The incident has been put down to a 'breakdown in communication' between the duo and it has also been reported that there were no issues backstage between Flair and Jax after the match had finished.
