After teasing he would be on the show, Dolph Ziggler returned to NXT on Tuesday.

Ziggler and NXT Champion Bron Breakker had been involved in a war of words on social media over the past few weeks and Dolph appeared on the Tuesday night show during The Big Bad Booty Nephew's NXT Championship Summit with Legado Del Fantasma's Santos Escobar.

After Breakker and Escobar had bickered back and forth for a few minutes, Ziggler entered the WWE Performance Center and cut a promo on the young Steiner, noting he had never held the NXT Title while the crowd chanted 'Triple Threat.'

Tommaso Ciampa then interrupted and proceeded to boot Ziggler in the head while he was sat comfortably in his chair which led to a brawl at ringside between the two stars.

While this was going on, though, Legado Del Fantasma hoisted Breakker up and put him through a table.

How Ziggler's involvement with NXT will develop ultimately remains to be seen but the former World Heavyweight Champion could well end up in a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Title following Vengeance Day.
