Bobby Lashley Wants Brock Lesnar WWE Rematch In A Fight Pit

The WWE Champion wants more matches against the Beast Incarnate.

Bobby Lashley wants to have a rematch with Brock Lesnar, preferably under an MMA-influenced stipulation such as the Fight Pit - according to a recent interview with BleacherReport.

The WWE Champion recently defeated Lesnar to win back the title at the Royal Rumble (thanks in part to interference from Roman Reigns.) Lashley has now admitted that he wants further matches with the Beast Incarnate, stating:

"It was good to get that first match in, but I think there's so many more matches to go with me and him. I still think there's some bad blood that needs to be fought over."

When asked whether he would prefer a certain stipulation, Lashley expressed an interest in MMA-inspired rules over weapons-based match types.

"Oh, it all interests me. The only thing that doesn't interest me is a Street Fight. I think what I can do with [my fists] is going to be more brutal than what I can do with a kendo stick or with a table or with a chair. I don't think we even need that, and I think he feels the same way. I think he'd rather suplex me than swing a stick at me.

"So many people want to see it that a Fight Pit would be cool. Put on some MMA gloves and get in a cage. I think any one of those things interest me."

The Fight Pit stipulation has yet to be seen on Raw or SmackDown, but has been used in NXT for Timothy Thatcher's matches against Riddle and Tommaso Ciampa.

Lashley is currently set to defend the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on February 19. The Chamber match itself will feature Lashley, Lesnar, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Riddle, and Austin Theory.
