Drew McIntyre Confirms He Is Working Through Injury

Drew is pushing through.

WWE star Drew McIntyre has confirmed that he is currently working through an injury.

A previous report had stated that it was believed McIntyre had 'badly' hyperextended his elbow during his World Heavyweight Title victory against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL.

In a new TikTok post, the 38-year-old said:

"The internet is telling the truth. I've said it in interviews already. I am hurt, but I keep pushing through because I'm not a pathetic coward little bitch like CM Punk".

Despite the pain, Drew performed on WWE's European tour last week, wrestling in losing efforts to Jey Uso on four consecutive nights. At this stage it is unknown whether McIntyre will miss any TV time due to the injury.

There are other question marks over the former WWE Champion's future, as he has yet to re-sign with WWE (with his current deal reportedly set to expire soon).

Though he has not officially put pen to paper on a new WWE deal, the expectation is that he will. McIntyre has continued to stoke the flames of his feud with CM Punk, with the Straight-Edge Superstar potentially returning from his torn triceps by SummerSlam.
