Drew McIntyre has punched his ticket to WrestleMania 40!

Irn Dru outlasted Randy Orton, LA Knight, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, and Logan Paul on his way to winning the men's Elimination Chamber match at the namesake pay-per-view.

The match came down to Logan Paul, Randy Orton, and Drew McIntyre but Paul was eliminated after he locked and loaded his brass knuckles-filled fist and screamed, only to eat an RKO from out of nowhere by Randy Orton. Randy, who was bothered by his back throughout the contest, was able to eliminate Logan but he couldn't rise after McIntyre set up for a Claymore.

This made Drew overconfident and Orton eventually managed to connect with an RKO. Before he could make the cover, however, Orton was taken out by a brass knuckles shot from Logan Paul, who had not left the Chamber. This allowed McIntyre to crawl and lie over Orton to score the victory.

Drew McIntyre has been involved in the World Heavyweight Title picture for several months and he has twice unsuccessfully challenged Seth Rollins for the title at Crown Jewel 2023 and on Raw Day 1 on January 1, 2024. The Crown Jewel loss led to a fully-fledged heel turn for McIntyre and he has re-established himself as a top star in recent months as part of his "speaking the truth" and trolling babyfaces gimmick.

McIntyre’s WWE contract is still set to expire in April after WrestleMania 40 but the expectation is he will remain with the company. Drew is said to be very happy with his current WWE creative.
