Drew McIntyre Wants To Beat Roman Reigns At WWE's UK PPV

Drew McIntyre would love to beat Roman Reigns at WWE Clash at The Castle.

Drew McIntyre recently spoke to Sports Illustrated ahead of this weekend's WWE WrestleMania Backlash, but also took time to mention this year's planned UK show.

Clash at The Castle is set to take place on September 3 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, and is the first WWE show of its scale to be held on UK soil since SummerSlam 1992. The name of the event was exclusively revealed by McIntyre at a recent house show in London.

No matches have yet been announced for Clash at The Castle, but McIntyre has one such bout in mind, stating:

"I’m a two-time WWE champion, but I never won the title in front of our fans. My dream situation is fighting for the title against Roman [Reigns] at the UK show. There is going to be such intense anticipation for that event. And that would be a match, atmosphere-wise, that people would always remember."

Drew's feud with Reigns was reignited ahead of WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday. McIntyre is set to team with Randy Orton and Riddle in a six-man tag team match against Roman and The Usos.
