Eddie Kingston Injury Update
Eddie Kingston is pushing himself hard during injury rehab
Nov 29, 2024
AEW star Eddie Kingston has been out of action since May with various injuries, including a knee injury which required surgery.
Initial reports suggested that the 42-year-old would be on the sidelines for a year while he recovered.
In a new report, PWInsider noted that Kingston has been furiously pushing himself through physical therapy in a bid to return to the ring sooner than scheduled.
However, while Eddie is keen to come back to work, doctors have warned him that he will likely not be cleared to return before June 2025.
When asked to provide a comment, Kingston responded that "health insurance is a scam".
Kingston last appeared on the August 17 edition of Collision, where he cut a promo from his house, talking about his long road back from injury while question Bryan Danielson's attitude ahead of his AEW World Championship match with Swerve Strickland at All In.
In July, the inaugural AEW Continental Champion spoke about how Tony Khan had shot down his idea to recreate a controversial plastic bag spot on AEW television.
Kingston subsequently reacted with a custom cartoon drawing hinting at his dissatisfaction after Jon Moxley and Danielson did the angle themselves at All Out.
