Good news from El Hijo del Vikingo

El Hijo del Vikingo has provided an update on his condition after he was stretchered out of a TNA television taping this past Sunday.
The luchador was using crutches and sported a leg brace after he landed awkwardly performing a corkscrew moonsault dive in his match against Trent Seven. The match abruptly ended after the referee threw up the 'X' symbol and Vikingo was taken to the hospital.
Thankfully, it appears that Vikingo has avoided major injury and should be back sooner rather than later.
In an Instagram post, he noted that the the injury did not affect any muscle or ligament and that "I have to rest for 5 days while the swelling goes down, then start rehabilitation until I am 100% recovered, I will be out for 15-to-20 days". Given that timeframe, it would appear that Vikingo will have to withdraw from his scheduled AAA Mega Championship match with Alberto El Patron, which was schedule for the promotion's November 10 Guerra de Titanes event.
It has been an injury-hit year for El Hijo Del Vikingo, who missed six months of action after tearing his meniscus in February.
