The Young Bucks will be going on a hiatus from AEW, according to a recent report.
PWInsider noted that Matthew and Nicholas Jackson will not be around for a while following the events of this past Wednesday's Fright Night edition of Dynamite.
"Yes, last night was the end of the current Young Bucks storyline. We are told they are not planned to return to TV for some time...NO, they are not done with the company. They signed a new AEW deal awhile back, which was announced publicly at the time", PWInsider wrote. The Young Bucks dropped the AEW World Tag Team Titles to Private Party on Dynamite. Later in the show, they were shown shredding documents in their locker room, before claiming that they needed to be "working from home" as the backstage scene in AEW was too chaotic at present.
Soon after, Bucks associate Brandon Cutler was attacked by Jon Moxley's gang, who hit his hand with a hammer.
It was also mentioned by The Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez (in his Dynamite report) that Nicholas Jackson has been working with a separated shoulder, which has been bothering him for several weeks.
