EVIL Wants A Showdown With Tony Khan At Forbidden Door

We could see a face-to-face between Tony Khan and EVIL

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door has offered some big cross-promotion dream matches over the last several years such as Will Ospreay vs. Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson vs. Kazuchika Okada, and Claudo Castagnoli vs. Zack Sabre Jr. At the upcoming 2024 edition of the event in 2024, we could get another “dream” encounter that we all want to see. And by “dream” we mean nightmare, and by “we”, we mean one person, and that is NJPW’s EVIL.

Ahead of his IWGP World Heavyweight Championship match against AEW’s Jon Moxley at Dominion, EVIL spoke to Tokyo Sports and called out Tony Khan for a showdown at Forbidden Door.

“You're doing whatever you want, and I'm not going to stand by and watch. Don't act like you're an equal to me, the president of an organization that's not that big. My company and your company are not of the same caliber. You don't seem to know your place, so I'll give you a lesson. You can stand in front of me (at Forbidden Door). Next time you won't be wearing a corset. You and I are on different levels.”

This year’s Forbidden Door event will supposedly feature talent from AEW and NJPW as usual, but also wrestlers from Stardom and CMLL too.
