EXCLUSIVE: EC3 Wants To Lead The Charge To Bring ROH Back To Relevance
EC3 wants to restore ROH’s honour
Once regarded as one of the greatest promotions in all of pro wrestling, Ring of Honor in 2021 is a shadow of its former self, and EC3 wants to bring ROH back to relevance.
Speaking to Cultaholic’s Ross Tweddell on Straight to Hell, EC3 said the following about returning ROH to past glories:
“There is no creative freedom when you’re involved in a three-letter brand as I call them in the Narrative, but Ring Of Honor provides the most and I enjoy working with them very much because it’s a lot of collaboration. With the talent, with the creative there. ‘Hey I want you to talk about this’ as opposed to here is a verbatim script written by 14 people based on no knowledge of who you are as a person or who you want to be as a character. So I enjoy that aspect thoroughly.
“I would love for them to take the next step back to the relevance I believe the company deserves and I want to lead that charge, for sure. I think it takes being bold and takes being risky in a sense, but it also provides me a perfect opportunity to scratch my itch with mainstream wrestling and also be able to create on my own. And I’d love for what I’m creating to synergistically work within what happens with Ring Of Honor too.”
