EXCLUSIVE: Eddie Edwards Wants To Open Forbidden Door Between IMPACT & Pro Wrestling NOAH

Eddie Edwards wants to see more crossover between IMPACT Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH

IMPACT Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH have worked together in the past and Eddie Edwards wants to open the Forbidden Door and restart that relationship.

Speaking about a potential NOAH return for himself on Desert Island Graps, Edwards stated:

"I'm open to it at any point. There's been numerous conversations over the past couple of years to try and get it done. Schedules haven't lined up. At this point, nothing is set in stone but it's always a conversation that is going on to try and get not just myself but some wrestlers from IMPACT to go over to NOAH and vice versa. We welcome anybody to come over here from NOAH. We had Marufuji, I'd love him to come back again. Also bring somebody else, Nakajima, Kenoh, anybody. Hopefully we just get that Forbidden Door open sooner or later."

IMPACT Wrestling have worked with several promotions in recent years, including AEW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, which brought the likes of Kenny Omega, KUSHIDA, and Minoru Suzuki to the IMPACT Zone.

Edwards worked for Pro Wrestling NOAH from 2005 until 2019 and he is a former GHC Heavyweight Champion, having held the gold for 118 days in 2017.

The former IMPACT World Champion will be in action at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view on January 13. Edwards is scheduled to go one-on-one with Jonathan Gresham.
