Gangrel has revealed he is a big fan of the British classic bangers and mash with a pint of Stella Artois.

While he has wrestled all over the world for the likes of WWE, Gangrel spent time living in Birkenhead, England while he performed on the UK independent wrestling scene.

During his time across the pond, The Vampire Warrior developed a fondness for Wetherspoons and he revealed on Straight To Hell that bangers and mash with a pint of Stella Artois was a favourite of his.

After being asked by Ross Tweddell if he had ever been to Wetherspoons, Gangrel said: "Yes, tons of times. I can't even remember what the special is but it's usually the sausage and potatoes, the bangers, you know? And a pint, always got to get a pint even if it's breakfast time. Usually, Stella - wife beater. A few Stellas, you start beating your wife. I love Stella because it's the cheaper one you can get over there."

Gangrel did have one complaint about Wetherspoons, though, as he had to go to the counter to be served. That has since changed, however, and food and drink can now be ordered using the pub chain's app, something Gangrel described as "boss tha'", in typical Scouse fashion.

Stella Artois became popularly known as "wife beater" in the United Kingdom following its growth in popularity in the 1980s and 1990s. It's higher alcohol content meant it developed the reputation of getting patrons easily drunk, who would then go home and be abusive to their partners.
