Former AEW talent attends TNA IMPACT tapings

Could a former talent with All Elite Wrestling be joining TNA?

TNA Wrestling held their latest round of TNA IMPACT tapings from the MegaCorp Pavilion in Newport, Kentucky on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19. According to Fightful Select, Jose The Assistant was present at the TNA IMPACT tapings over the weekend and met with Tommy Dreamer. It is unknown why Jose met with Dreamer but the ECW legend is one of the key figures involved with TNA creative.

Jose The Assistant joined All Elite Wrestling in 2021 and he was initially on TV with Andrade El Idolo before he transitioned fully to La Faccion Ingobernable with the likes of Rush, Dralistico, and Preston Vance. Off-screen, Jose was a producer in AEW.

Jose was released by AEW on April 1, 2024 along with the likes of Stu Grayson, Gravity, Dasha Fuentes, Slim J, Parker Boudreaux, and The Boys. Prior to joining AEW, Jose worked for several promotions and he was previously utilised as an enhancement talent in WWE.
