New champions were crowned on the November 14 edition of WWE NXT.

The show featured an NXT Tag Team Titles match as Chase U's Andre Chase and Duke Hudson put the belts on the line against former champions Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo.

Issues within Chase U proved to be decisive in the match as members of the university walked out on Andre Chase throughout the contest and Chase was eventually pinned by the challengers following a double spinebuster. This comes after Shawn Michaels launched an investigation into the university following Andre Chase's suspicious actions in recent weeks, during which he handed an envelope to Jacy Jayne that shocked Thea Hail and Duke Hudson.

Tony D'Angelo and Stacks only dropped the titles to Chase U two weeks ago, losing them to Andre Chase and Duke Hudson on night one of Halloween Havoc on October 24. The D'Angelo Family held the belts for 86 days during their first reign, having captured the championships from Gallus at The Great American Bash in July.
