Former WWE Tag Team The Revival Release New Video Hyping Their Return

More Protest Vibes...

Back on April 10, WWE announced they had released former SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival. Now going by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, the popular tag team are free to sign with another promotion.

The pair are now making efforts to market themselves ahead of their return to wrestling. Yesterday, they released a new logo composed of a red circle dripping with blood with the letters "RV" inscribed in the middle. The logo seemed to bear some resemblance to the one used by V in V for Vendetta.

The imagery of resistance and revolting was again used earlier today as Dax Harwood posted a video hyping their return on social media. The short clip is composed of clips of famous protest movements in recent history including the Vietnam War Protests, the Civil Rights Movement, the collapse of the Berlin Wall, and the 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. The words "Resist," "Revive,"  "Revolt" also flash onto the screen as the clips play. The video then ends with a message to "Fear The Revolt" as their famous catchphrase "Say Yeah" plays in the background.

The team seemingly known as The Revolt has yet to announce their next destination in wrestling, but Cash Wheeler has expressed interest in competing in The NWA's Crockett Cup.
