FTR Returns To AEW At Revolution, Attack The Gunns

Top Guys back

After a several-month sabbatical from AEW, FTR made their return to the company at Revolution on Sunday night in San Francisco, following the Tag Team title match.

The Gunns retained their Tag Team titles in a four-way match over The Acclaimed, Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett, and Orange Cassidy and Danhausen, after pinning Danhausen with their version of The Big Rig.

After the match, Renee Paquette went to interview The Gunns. Austin Gunn ran down the teams they've previously beaten, mentioning FTR. Moments later, FTR's music hit, bringing Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler out from the entrance way.

FTR then attacked the Gunns, hitting Colten with a spike piledriver, and then Austin with the Big Rig. The two then held up the Tag belts to end the segment. During the brawl, Harwood was accidentally busted open near the eye.

FTR last appeared in AEW on the December 21 episode of Dynamite, losing to the Gunns. They haven't wrestled since dropping the IWGP Tag Team titles to Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4 in Tokyo.
