FTR To Leave AEW If They Don't Win Tag Team Titles From The Gunns

FTR could be leaving AEW

One of All Elite Wrestling's top tag teams could be set to exit the promotion.

The Gunns were in action on the March 22 edition of AEW Dynamite and they scored a successful AEW World Tag Team Title defence against Top Flight after interference from The Kingdom. FTR made their way to the ring following The Gunns' win and The Top Guys tried to convince Austin and Colten to face them for the titles.

Wheeler initially offered to split FTR but Austin refused to accept. This prompted Dax Harwood to increase the stakes and he announced FTR would leave AEW if The Gunns beat them to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships. That offer proved to be to Austin's liking and he accepted the stipulation before The Gunns spat in in FTR's faces.

It was not revealed when The Gunns vs. FTR II will take place.

FTR's future in AEW has been uncertain in recent months ever since Dax Harwood claimed his and Cash Wheeler's deals with the promotion were up in April. Harwood has since revealed that he and Wheeler have made a decision on their futures. Reports have indicated, though, that FTR are actually signed to long-term deals with AEW and the uncertainty around their future is just part of a storyline.
