No matter which way you slice it, AEW’s roster is absolutely stacked… possibly too stacked, with many pointing out how the active roster is ‘bloated’ with many stars sparingly used on TV.

Not everyone thinks this is a problem, with AEW’s Fuego Del Sol revealing to the AJ Awesome Show how he sees the positive in the situation:

“The AEW roster is stacked right now. We have so many great guys, and guys are champing at the bit for any bit of TV time and match time they can get,” said Fuego. “For us to develop and go forward, I can’t wait to see what the next year holds for AEW and Ring of Honor together because I think it’s gonna help shape wrestling in a different way and we’re gonna get to see a lot more stories.”

Fuego continued, adding it’s better to have too much than too little:

“[We have] incredible guys, veteran guys that have been doing this for nearly 30 years. You look at a guy like Chris Jericho. All these guys [are] champing at the bit. The talent is so good, and I feel like that’s a good problem to have. I’d rather have too much good talent than not enough,” Fuego said.

Some fans have pointed out that the long-rumoured weekly ROH relaunch will likely help alleviate roster bloat, and Fuego agrees:

“If we can get a Ring of Honor television show, I feel like that would open up the door for a lot more guys to have a lot more opportunities to show what we have [to offer],” said Fuego.
