Gabe Kidd is yet to re-sign with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, with the Bullet Club War Dog having been in negotiations during the start of 2025.

NJPW deals are usually renegotiated in the first quarter of the year, with the likes of Kidd, Kevin Knight, and Zack Sabre Jr. amongst other having reached the end of their previous deals. Reports in February suggested that Kidd was one of several potentially working without a contract, and an update from Fightful Select suggests Kidd is yet to re-sign with the promotion.

Kidd has recently wrestled several matches in All Elite Wrestling, hot off his Tokyo Dome clash with Kenny Omega at Wrestle Dynasty on January 5. It has not been suggested that Kidd is looking to jump ship, with Fightful’s report stating that Kidd is just one of a number of talents yet to sign a new contract with New Japan.

NJPW will surely be hopeful of keeping hold of Kidd, with the British star having emerged as one of the major gaijin of the promotion in 2024. Kidd joined the promotion in 2020 as a ‘young lion’. Cultaholic is now on WhatsApp! Follow us here.
