The Undertaker and CM Punk come face-to-face during their match at WrestleMania 29

WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker has commented on CM Punk's backstage attitude since his return to WWE in 2023.

During an interview with Mail Online, The Deadman noted that, while he is not around Punk as much as he was when both were full-time WWE stars over a decade ago, the Straight-Edge Superstar seems like a new person during this most recent run.

"I'm not around the day to day like I used to be, but every time that I have been at an event and have seen Punk, he is a truly different person. He's very friendly, outgoing, can hold a conversation and I see him mentoring a lot as well, which obviously makes me happy, him being one of the greats of his generation", 'Taker said.

Prior to Punk's WWE return, The Undertaker denied having any issue with his former adversary, noting that he enjoyed working with him in the ring.

The Phenom also credited Punk for not backing down during impromptu amateur wrestling matches with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley (during an overseas tour in 2006), despite the fact he was resoundingly defeated in both.
